The history of Central Counselling & Training Service (CCTS) began in September 1995. Norma Parrack was inspired by two visionaries to start such a service. The first, Dr Guy Chevreau [known from "The Toronto Blessing" and author of different books] said:
“ In the move that is coming, there are going to be new Bible Schools, training centres, and leadership schools raised up. These schools will have a focus not only on Bible knowledge, but also in ministries of healing the broken hearts, setting the captives free, and on developing intimacy with the Father.”
The second influence came from a colleague who had a dream:
“ In the dream while walking our local streets he saw a young woman sitting in a shop doorway. It was obvious she had been on the street all night. She asked him for money. He offered to buy her breakfast and so took her to a local cafe. As she ate he shared his faith with her, and she gave her life to God. At her request he then took her to a team of counsellors who were operating on behalf of the Church, where she received the help and care she needed. My colleague saw that I was heading up that team.”
