Supervision of Christian Counselling Stage 3

Intro

This course is the third stage of a comprehensive training programme developed by ACC for those who wish to practice professionally as Supervisors at the highest level in the future.

NB Stage 3 "Supervision of Christian Counselling" is for those who have completed their Certificate in Christian Counselling training and ACC recognised Stage 2 Supervision training.

Requirements

Course Participants will be interviewed in person or by telephone;
Participants require three references: one from their Vicar/Minister/Elder, one from their current supervisor of counselling practice and one from their current Supervisor of Supervision practice;
Participants need to have completed at least 150 hrs counselling practice;
Participants need to have completed 150 hours of supervised counselling practice;
Participants need to have completed 10 hours of supervised supervision;
Participants need to complete the application form and give evidence of prior training at Stages 1 & 2.

Course Content

The Supervision course is designed to train experienced counsellors to supervise other counsellors. It will provide understanding of the theory, practice and philosophy of the double matrix model of supervision.

Additional Work

Course participants will be required to engage in 36 training hours�plus a minimum of 15 hours private study.
