CCTS Tutors

At CCTS we have a very experienced team of course trainers and tutors:

Norma Parrack
BSc, MSc Psychotherapy, Diploma in Counselling, Advanced Certificate in Counselling Supervision, registered psychotherapist (UKCP). Previous Training & Development Officer (Hampshire Social Services), Norma has a wealth of experience in counselling, supervision and training and is the Manager of CCTS. She has lectured at London School of Theology and CWR Waverley. Norma is widely involved with the designing of courses in both higher and further education and the development of other counselling centres. She has been a member of the ACC Training Standards Committee.

Roy Whyte
BA (Hons), PGCE, Dip Counselling, BACP (Accred), Registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist (UKRCP). Roy is an accredited counsellor with the BACP. His counselling experience includes working with children, young people and adults. Roy works with The Listening Ear Counselling Service in Bournemouth as well as working for CCTS in Southampton. He is also a qualified teacher.

Karen Shapey
Karen is a qualified teacher. She holds a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling [Eastleigh College], and works as a counsellor with Life Changes Counselling Service and The Olive Branch.

Mary Hatcher
Mary is an accredited counsellor with ACC. She holds a Diploma in Counselling [CCTS] and works as a counsellor and supervisor within CCTS; Mary also has many years of pastoral experience.

Guest Speakers
Allan and Lizzie Cox. Allan and Lizzie lead a Church in Eastleigh. They have a wealth of pastoring experience and an interest in community outreach. John & Alison Sweeney both involved in couple counselling and Nicola Symes with a specialist interest in counselling and bereavement.
