Continuous Professional Development Training Days

Intro

These CPD specialist courses, for accredited counsellors, meet the ongoing training requirements necessary to sustain professional accreditation with the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC). They are also a relevant resource for those who have been trained within a secular environment.

Programme, Dates, Cost & Venue

Workshop:	Model Practice (MP) Training Group 2011 - 2012
Content:	Applying the Model to different client issues: integrating visual, auditory and kinetic skills into the Model: Tutor demonstrations and group practice.
Who?	Anyone who works with the Crab/CWR Model and studied at Certificate/ Counselling Model & Practice or Diploma level (or equivalent).
Venue:	Central Hall, St Mary Street, Southampton, SO14 1NF. Car Parking Available
Dates:	Autumn Term: Tuesday 11th October, 1st November, 13th December Spring Term: Tuesday 17th January, 14th February, 13th March Summer Term: Tuesday 17th April, 15th May, 12th June, 17th July
Trainers:	Norma Parrack, Mary Hatcher and others.
Time:	All workshops will run from 2.00pm - 5.00pm
Closing:	Autumn Term - 13th September 2011 Spring Term – 5th December 2011 Summer Term – 29th March 2012

These workshops are provided by Central Counselling & Training Service whose dual purpose is: to provide counselling, group work and accredited Christian counselling courses guided by values, aims and methods consistent with biblical teaching.
